Why This Training?

Radical Exposure Tapping (RET) works at the deepest level of traumatic memory, transforming emotional encoding and core identity beliefs. It combines precise activation with the safety and connection clients need for lasting change.  

Better Access Initiative Support: RET aligns with Focused Psychological Strategies under Australia’s Better Access scheme.

Core Modules
Module  1 – Build Safety from the First Session
  1. Identify and name memories 

  2. Keep clients within their window of tolerance

  3. Establish accurate distress ratings (SUDS)

  4. Build containment and trust from the outset

Module  2– Select and Engage the Right Memory
  1. Locate the key image or sensation

  2. Read somatic and body-based trauma cues

  3. Identify trauma-driven beliefs about self, safety, and worth

  4. Activate memory with precision and attunement

Module  3– Master the RET Tapping Process
  1. Use the complete RET protocol fluently

  2. Identify client's key words

  3. Follow emerging material as the process unfolds

  4. Work skilfully with SUDS changes

Advanced Clinical Skills
  1. Therapeutic Presence & Co-Regulation – Be the anchor in the room.

  2. Assessment & Case Formulation – Know when to proceed, pause, or adapt.

  3. Protocol with Flexibility – Balance structure with responsiveness.

  4. Managing Your Own Activation – Stay regulated, prevent burnout.

Learn Through Clinical Examples
  1. Real client video footage

  2. Supervised hands-on practice

  3. Personal processing to experience RET as a client

  4. Small group supervision and feedback
